HE IS RISEN

Freedom From Bondage

Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” is declared in the Declaration of Independence, and the struggle thereof, has been the struggle of mankind throughout the ages. But what if a bully uses the pursuit of happiness to force their severe proclivities onto the virtues of  another’s liberty, subsequently the receiver of such rancor  might find themselves not in a happy place,  and what if  this unwarranted hostility begins to manifest itself towards the statutes of the Bible, and the anger escalates at an horrifying rate.  The faithful in such a predicament may proceed with caution and instinctively keep the profession of faith in the Bible to oneself. But even with all the best efforts to avoid trouble, what if in the not to distance future trouble still finds the saint, via the far-reaching constant surveillance leading to the eventual outcome of the ‘Mark of the Beast.’

Taking a moment to ponder and, perhaps knowing from passed experience, why it seems the bully can never leave the innocent party alone just as it was written in Genesis 4: 8, And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

The Bible gives a  good explanation as to the why such “Bulling” comes to fruition as it is written in 1st John 3: 12, Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

The world may leave the believer desperate to find a way to rise above such dire straits,  as the ‘Signs of the Times’ speedily draw nearer to the ‘Last Days,’ leaving one to wonder when to the eyes all looks parlous. Until the faith rising within the saint naturally reckons the believer to the Lord’s good grace, and therein lies the miracle of  freedom from ‘The Bondage Of Sin’ familiarized and at times referred to as  ‘The World, The Flesh, And The Devil.’

Spiritually the faithful are as free as a ‘Bird on a Wing’ by the tangible  liberty in Jesus Christ and the infallible ‘Word’ of God as it is written in Isaiah 61:1, The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening up the prison to them that are bound.

The palpable beautiful hope that is the ‘Light of the World,’ gives the faithful to take courage to move forward firmly-grounded in the promises of the Lord Jesus as it is written in Luke 4:18-21 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture  fulfilled in your ears.

The power and authority in Christ Jesus and the Lord’s triumphant victory over sin is ironclad and the saints take heart as it is written in the Scriptures, Luke 24: 44-48, And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.  And he said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among the nations, the beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.

Holy Scriptures, He Is Risen

Matthew  28:2-6, And, Behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment as white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel  answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen , as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell the disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there ye shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
